Payment of Monthly Tuition

Tuition is paid monthly in one of two ways:

  1. Credit Card (Visa/MC): Automatic CC charge on the first of each month
  2. Automatic debit from checking account

1st month and June (last month) are due at registration. The dance calendar is organized to include 40 weeks of instruction over a 10 month period. Your tuition rate will divided into 10 equal monthly payments regardless of how many weeks in each month. It will average out over the span of the dance year. This calendar takes into account Thanksgiving, Christmas and Memorial Day Holidays when we are closed.

All returned checks/debits and/or declined credit cards are charged a $20.00 NSF fee.

NOTE:

All fees must be paid by pre-authorized debit or pre-authorized credit cards at time of registration.

Auto-debit from bank account and credit card payments are only available for regular auto-charge recurring monthly fees. Credit cards are not accepted for individual in-person payments for lessons each month.

Withdrawals and Refunds

There is a two-month minimum for all lessons. A one-month notice (30 days) is required to discontinue any classes. No withdrawal notices will be accepted after May 10th. There are NO refunds given once a student has registered. We have allotted a space for you in class. Withdrawal must be done in person and will not be accepted over the phone or email. Withdrawal must be done at the office or with director and NOT with the teacher. To withdraw from a class a parent or adult student must:

  1. Inform studio office staff or director in person and
  2. Complete and sign a withdrawal form provided by the front office.

Studio Policies and Rules

Missed Lessons and Make-up lessons

Make up lessons are given only upon receiving a 24 hour notice to the school office. Make-up lessons will be limited to 2 per teaching year and are subject to teacher/space availability. All make-ups must be completed within a 30 day period after the excused absence. No refunds are given for missed lessons.

Student Sign-in

All students must sign-in for their lessons at the front desk.

Substitutions

The school reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regularly scheduled teacher is ill or otherwise unable to attend a lesson. If a teacher is ill and the school cannot arrange a substitute any missed lessons will be made up.

Care of Students

The school is not responsible for providing before or after class care for students. Parents with students under the age of 6 are asked to remain in the waiting room during the lessons. Students are not to be left at the school for excessive time before or after lessons. Those individuals who are in waiting room must be quiet and no children are to be left in room unaccompanied by an adult.

Parents are Responsible for Being Aware of Dates and Events

It is the responsibility of the parent or adult student to be aware of school activities such as recitals and dates the school is open and closed. The school will post notices on the music bulletin board as well as emailing newsletters. It is the parent’s responsibility to regularly check these boards to ensure they are informed. If students wish to participate in music festivals or exams, it is the parent or adult student’s responsibility to be aware of all exam or festival dates and deadlines. It is the parent or adult student’s responsibility to take care of all fees with these organizations directly. It is also the responsibility of the parent or adult student to inform the school of any address or telephone number change.

Emergency Contact and Release Form

Parent, legal guardian of minor students or adult student is required to complete the emergency-release form before a student may participate in class. We recommend going to the website to set up your student portal to complete this information.
